USB Endoscope / Wire cameras with zoneminder?

USB Endoscope / Wire cameras with zoneminder?

I am thinking about buying one of those cheap endoscope USB cameras to assist me with drywall cable fishing, but was thinking i could reuse it as a security camera after (pointing it on a window to the outside), as I already have zonemider setup with a bunch of (IP) cameras, why not one more :)

Has anyone ever done this? If so any particular model known to work or not to? I tried googling this with no luck, sorry if this was already posted (please point me to the correct link).I checked the zoneminder compat guide but not much there on this type:
