clearing out few details for new user

Hi.
Thank you for any constructive input.

I have server runing in Virtual machine
ubuntu 10.04,Ispconfig 3 , is the software involved.

I installed ZM,created link to it from /var/www and made it 777

I can connect to ZM.

I'm failing to set up cameras.I have several cheep USB cams.
lsusb detected them

Before i go in details i have question:

v4l versions:how do i know what is installed on my system?

gspca -lsmod list modules wing gspca_main and gspca_zc3xx what is that and do I need to install gspca driver besides what is listed?

Thats not gona work you relly need a dedecated server Ispconfig 3, Will not alow this to co exist nicely. ZM is a very Cpu intensive application and requires more system resorses that a hosting pannle will provide.

The server is 2x xeons 2.8,4gb ram,raid5 1tb and the vm environment is used for management purposes and the Ispconfig3 is used for domain management purposes.
All this is just for me(one user).

Do you still think i have a problem?
I do only have DSL thought with static Ip.
