Yet another un-named ebay IP camera

Hi I bought this external IP camera from ebay



I've figured out that you can stream RTSP from it using VLC with this URL: rtsp://admin:admin@192.168.1.217/0 on port 554 (note the /0 is necessary).

However, I've not managed to get this working in ZoneMinder, does anyone have any ideas?

Alternatively does anyone have any pointers to how I might get a JPG image directly from this camera?

PS If anyone would like pictures of the camera internals I can post these too.

PPS The image quality and network bandwidth utilisation is excellent and compares nicely to my AXIS 207's. However the interface is ActiveX based and leaves a lot to be desired.

Try the axis ip/mpeg4/, rtp/rtsp/http preset, change your path from to /0 and src to user:pass@ip.addr.ess

see if that works

If all else fails, you can probably make it an ffmpeg feed.

I'm assuming you're using zm 1.24.2.

Obviously adjust the resolution settings to whatever the camera's spitting out.
