to use: v4l or v4l2?

wanted to make an inquiry
I advise using v4l or v4l2?
1.24 + ZM am using Centos 5.3 + 2 bttv 878th with 13 PALN Philips CCD cameras.

que me aconsejan utilizar v4l o v4l2?

Te conviene V4L2, ya que tiene un rendimiento superior (y mas aún con el multibuffer si lo soportan las placas) y mas opciones de espacios de color y normas.

Gracias CoYote, te queria consultar lo siguiente con respecto al multibuffer, ya que es algo que nunca entendi

Mis placas son Kodicom 8800 (2) en un PC.
Deberia utilizar la opcion multibuffer?, por lo que se las placas tienen 8 entradas con un chip cada una no lo comparten

Se supone que en el caso de 1 chip por canal, esta opción no tiene ningun efecto.
