Jun 18 11:54:53 nagios zmdc[25344]: ERR ['zmc -m 2' exited abnormally, exit status 6]
The configuration for this monitor is:
Remote prot: RTSP

I will never again buy a Vivotek product!

Have you tried without the sub path?
Have you looked around in the cameras settings? I know there are many options to configure regarding the port and the path.

Hmm, never again Vivotek? :) What product are comparable to Vivotek? (Primary subject is the price of course)

Now, i'm tried without the sub path, and here is the log output:

If you change to 1.24.2 then you no longer need (or can modify) the sub path so can throw that away. There are other changes also that may help. I have a Vivotek that works fine with port 554, RTP/Unicast and live.sdp as the host path.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your suggestion, i'm upgraded to 1.24.2, but it does not works :(
Here is the syslog output.
Configuration is the same (ip, RTP/Unicast, port=554, live.sdp).

Code: Select all

Hi.

I'm getting this issue too, with several models of Vivotek cameras that I have.

It seems to be related to the newest firmware used there.

From my code inspection, it seems the Vivotek produces different SSRC every time - can someone comment on this, and if it happens with other cameras?

Regards.

Seems like if ZM can't use RTSP on Vivotek cameras if build on 64 bit systems.
I have several installations of ZoneMinder, all with Vivotek IP cameras (FD7131). If I build version 1.24.2 on i386 all works great (according to instructions on the wiki), but if I build on X86_64 all attempts of getting images with RTSP result in black screen.
Can you investigate?

any updates for the 64bit users?

I use some Edimax 3010 and can only poll the still images :(

Running 64 bits as well...

Just upgraded the camera to firmware 0200a... No change. Same

Code: Select all

05/23/10 21:28:05.791151 zmc_m7[-1].WAR-zm_rtp_data.cpp/57 [Discarding packet for unrecognised ssrc 1a5e6cff]
05/23/10 21:28:05.792924 zmc_m7[-1].WAR-zm_rtp_data.cpp/57 [Discarding packet for unrecognised ssrc 7634dde9]
05/23/10 21:28:05.794959 zmc_m7[-1].WAR-zm_rtp_data.cpp/57 [Discarding packet for unrecognised ssrc 4cba154d]
ad infinitum...

The only option that I now have is through ffmpeg, but that just doesn't seem right.

Oh well... bring my IP7132 back I guess.
