Cos the output isnt a jpeg.
Also please keep to one topic, multiple posts wont get you an answer an quicker and may put of some people from answering at all

I was trying to be more specific. Any way when I do wget http://192.168.16.XXX/cgi-bin/video.jpg I get an fine jpeg image.

you might well as wget just downloads whatever the file is, if it was a pdf it would download that. Because of the way zm works it needs to be sure its a jpeg, if the jpeg supplies has non standard headers it will fail. There are scripts on here that take non std cams and convert but id advise against
