Cloudy ZM and IP Camera behind NAT

Hi

Apologies if this is a complete newbie question — I've Googled a lot and searched the forum, and I'm not any wiser about whether what I want is even possible.

Are there any IP cameras that I can install at various sites and just point them at a ZM server I set up — and they will then stream video securely (ie over SSL or some other encrypted means)?

I know there are commercial services like Y-Cam that allow something similar where the camera installation on-site is just plug-and-play and no additional gateway device is needed, but I don't want to take the risk of putting all my data in the hands of a 3rd party which could disappear or change their T&C or prices at a moments notice.
