Revotech I6032B-P POE 1920x1080P 2.0MP outdoor Camera

Post by hossa1c »

Hi,
I've brought a "Revotech® - I6032B-P POE Waterproof 1920 x 1080P 2.0MP Bullet IP Camera 24LED IR Outdoor Security Camera ONVIF Night Vision P2P IP CCTV Cam with IR-Cut (Black)" from amazon here

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B018 ... ge_o05_s00

It's not bad, but I have no idea how to connect to to zoneminder ;-(
It states it supports RTP,RTSP, so I'm hoping it should be simple.

Does anybody have any idea?

cheers

hi,
not yet. I had a quick try but couldn't get it working. I need to sit down for a day and try all possibilities. If I get it working I'll let you know.

Hi,

Maybe this page can help you out.
https://www.ispyconnect.com/man.aspx?n=Revotech
It helped me with Foscam and maginon cameras.
On their page you can find the required URLs for accessing the video feed for a large amount of camera types

Goos luck!

hi,
I found some time and got it half working at 640 x 360

Source Type = Remote
Remote Protocol = HTTP
Remote Method = Simple
Remote Host Name = 192.168.1.168
Remote Host Port = 80
Remote Host Path = snapshot.jpg
Target colorspace = 24 bit colour
Capture Width = 640
Capture Height = 360

I'll try and found some more time and get a higher picture in the future.

cheers

I have a revotech camera, hardware version 3500-ar0130_960p, and several others (only 1,3mbit, not 2mbit cameras yet). I have found that the simplest way is to get the URL from the preview image (wich is usually stream2) and change to stream1. Works for me.

eg preview stream on http://10.10.10.202/cgi-bin/hi3510/snap ... eam&-chn=2 and my settings in ZM are then
host 10.10.10.202
host port:80
host path: /cgi-bin/hi3510/snap.cgi?&-getstream&-chn=1

stream2 are also usable, but are lowres-stream

best regards.

Hi,
thank you for your help. I looked at the web page and it used the following link to display a video
http://192.168.1.168/snapshot?chn=1&u=a ... 8973504601
This gave me 3 pictures split across the top 1/3 of the screen

I also downloaded ONVIF Device Manager which talked to my ONVIF enabled camera and gave me this URL
rtsp://192.168.1.168:80/ch0_0.264
rtsp://admin:123456@192.168.1.168:80/ch0_0.264 (I guessed at this one for also sending a username and password)
These gave me nothing.

I then looked at zoneminder 1.30 which is meant to support ONVIF detection, but this just didn't work ;-(
But I can't wait until ONVIF is fixed, then it will be so much simpler to used these cheap camera.

cheers

Hi,

I didn't try the ONVIF setup (forgot that Zoneminder now supported it :) ) but I have had a similar version Revotech work straight away with Zoneminder 1.30.0.

I've started a new Revotech section on the wiki and put my setup details there: https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Revotech .

My model is the I6032W-P. Early days in terms of reliability, but for a 1080p 2MP external camera it currently looks to be a bargain.

Well, I don't know how your chaps' cameras are going, but my I6032W-P packed up :( .

Initially it was fine - during the day the video was pretty good, during the night (under very low light) not that great, despite fiddling with the settings. In addition the RTSP stream would occasionally drop, sometimes to the extent that it required a hard-reboot to recover.

My last "action" with my Revotech was attempting a firmware upgrade with the supplied software, in the hope that it would resolve some of the issues - this succeeded, in terms of the operation, but effectively bricked the camera.

I returned it to Amazon in the end and bought another Hikvision. I could have been unlucky, but I think I'll stay clear of Revotech for now.

Hallo,
here are the URL that works for me:
rtsp://your IPnumber:5544/live0.264
You don´t need to fill in user and password.

Found it out with ONVIF Device manager - great tool from Russia.
