With one of my 6 POE camera's on the fritz I started to look at what I'll need to spend to get some new equipment. I got mine a few years ago pulled up the spec's and 10/100Mbps is my speed. No worries it was a few years ago and I don't spend much, but I did start looking for 10/100/1000 in my new ones. To my surprise I'm not finding any...even in the pricier models, is this common? does anybody currently own a GigE POE Camera? Am I possibly missing some basic piece of information to explain this?

Pretty sure that even 1920x1080 at 30fps wouldn't need any where near gig Ethernet. Most of the bandwidth would never get used so why spend extra money on the pricier chip sets.
