WinView on SRW208P Cisco Linksys POE Switch

I'm having troubles using the WinView interface on this switch.
I can access and login but after that the screen is unreadable.

Looking around the manual and other sources, IE must be used with the
recommended resolution being 1024x768.
The only version of ie I have is ie11 on a win8 system.
On earlier versions of ie, the F12 developer function allowed one to reset the resolution.
On ie11 I see no options under the developer function.
Is resolution setting still supported in ie11 or alternatively, how do you configure ie so the switch can be provisioned.

I was successful with performing a factory reset through the serial interface.
That interface appears to only support a subset of the management functions.
Hence the need the http interface.

I have version 1.1 of the switch and it looks like there is a firmware upgrade available for this switch.

I never got winview to work but after resetting the switch it worked. I have a server and a bunch of cameras hooked into it.
