axis cameras as a webcam??

does anyone know how to use axis or any ip network cameras via chat software as a webcam say like on kopete etc chat software that supports the webcam feature

Hi Adub

I have been looking into this myself awhile back, and my findings where, that such software can only figure out the video source when it is directly connected to the PC, just as a webcam or using a grabber card / analog camera.

couldn't you use vpipe and ffmpeg to do this
