Now that I setup whole system on laptop with 2 cameras, everything works fine, but I realized that some tweaks would be needed to make it more secure.
I am looking for aditional solutions:
1. Secondary Internet connection (Protection against phone line disconnection)
2. Monitoring System for Power Loss
Both should be achived by:
1. Monitoring the home network, recieve alarm if anything goes off (laptop power, home network, Internet connection)
2. Connect a GSM modem (old BlackBerry) to create a "secondary Internet connection" for emails and "sms(already implemented in ZM)"
I guess apart from sms alerts, everything else must be configured on the system level.
I am trying to play around with Nagios, but did not get too far yet.
Anybody is running a similar design of the system that could advice which tools/scripts to use?
