We got some avi file as recordings from outdoor video cams. Is it possible analyze those files, in order to find motion, with ZM?
Thanks in advance

Re: Apply Motion Detection on avi files
no it isn't possible. ZM works with an algorithm that detects divergences between 2 (or more) frames / pictures that are captured in the software.
and it's not processing any kind of videostreams.
you can view videostreams but thats an complete other feature than record through an video stream or file.
And please read the wiki for more info before posting...

Maybe if you use vlc for generate the stream from a file avi, and then use ffmpeg, like a source i think that's is posible.
