hi

I have an Icam2 which is basically the same as the icam 1000. I had to wire mine into the ethernet through my router - the wireless just won't connect for me.

ThenIn Zoneminder add a new camera and under the General tab; set
Source Type = Remote,
Maximum FPS=5

Under Source tab:
Remote Protocol = RTSP,
Remote Method = RTP/RTSP,
Remote Host Name= the IP address the router assigned your Icam1000 -something like 192.168.1.x,
Remote Host Port= 554 (for my camera- yours might be different),
Remote Host Path= /img/video.sav
Target Colorspace = 32 bit colour
Capture width = 320
Capture height =240

I haven't been able to get into my ICam2 to change any of the settings. Yours might be set to HTTP instead of RTSP like mine and so would use a different port. I think the default HTTP port for these cameras is 8080. You can test the Icam1000 by streaming it to VLC;
Run VLC
Click on 'Media' then 'Open Network Stream' then enter the network URL -

For me it's " rtsp://192.168.1.3:554/img/media.sav?channel=2 " without the quotation marks

I got this information from shkspr dot mobi /blog/2013/11/hacking-around-with-network-cameras/ web page. The info is mostly toward the end of the page. It helped me a lot getting my Icam2 running in my Zoneminder 1.29.
