Zavio F312A Wireless IP Camera

Post by Jynger »

Hello,
got couple of those, overally I am pleased with the extreme low price and picture quality way better than the others at same pirice tag (linksys, trendnet...).

Camera is able to stream both Mpeg4SP and MJPEG simultaneously, but that only if RTSP is disabled (with RTSP enabled its only Mpeg4). Cameras own motion detection works very well, only downside is that it does'nt send clear tcp trigger events (http, smtp, ftp only, had to write simple perl script to warp http event trigger on server to zmtrigger.pl, did not want to change any original files). Has all the ftp, bonjour, smtp upload etc. that also can be sheduled.

to connect to stream first you have to set port in camera config, then you are ready.

RTSP enabled
Source Type: ffmpeg
Source Path: rtsp://cameraip:8554/video.mp4
rtsp://cameraip:554/video.3gp

RTSP disabled
Source Type: ffmpeg
Source Path: http://cameraip:8090/video.mp4
http://cameraip:8070/video.mjpg

Zavio F312A Wireless IP Camera | Periodical Sending

Post by uma »

Howdy,

I have struggled with the periodical sending via email, and it doesn't work correctly.

In the settings "SMTP --> General" everything should be fine, the test works so I get the test message in email. And the periodical sending works too, but only once. It doesn't send more pictures even I have tested different intervals, for example 30min, 45min etc. Currently, when I start the camera, it sends one picture about 5min later, and then it sends nothing... :(

Any ideas?
