Backups

Hi guys,

Just wondered if anyone has any recommendations on how to backup their ZM setups?

I was thinking as ZM sometimes has issues with DB files being out of sync with images that this might affect snapshots etc?

Many thanks

Re: Errors

as an update..

seems my router's firewall is blocking all ports as an nmap shows all ports filtered. so this could be why, il test when i get home,

but still wondering why the auth causes issues?

Re: Restricting user logins

How would we configure fail 2 ban in that way?
Could that be used in conjunction with recaptcha?

Many thanks

Restricting user logins

Hi guys,

I was wondering if there was a way to restrict how many times a certain user can log in to the interface. As if too many logins are concurrent this will slow things down. Has anyone done anything like this yet?

Many thanks

Re: Setting up different profile for each login/cam

Hmm,

Users is working okay,

Apart from users that you do not want to be able to edit filters but view events.

And that you cannot change the email for each cam that an event gets sent to as well.

Cheers

Re: Securing the Database

Just checking....

So is the db user access restricted to local user by default?

Also while we're on the subject,

Is there any chance of malicious input being used to hack the database from the login page (cross site scripting etc)?

Many thanks

Re: Exporting video

In addition to this..

When exporting the images, then playing them in browser, it shows the outline of the zone which has been detecting motion, are we able to remove this at all?

Many thanks
