Re: Efficient motion detection by means of B2 frame?
Not an expert here, but perhaps use rtpdump to detect B2 frames and pass the event to zmtrigger.

Re: Can't get picture form Logitech, Inc. Labtec Webcam Pro
Try messing around with resolution & color palette. You may need a different driver. FWIW I never got much joy from USB webcams.

Re: Working on an open source ZM client: ZmNinja
Lots of new updates: Both Android and iOS ports are rock solid. Events view integrated, with skip/prev/next/pause/play If any of you want to install the APIs for ZoneMinder, I'll be happy to send you the app to test https://github.com/pliablepixels/zmNinja Great project, I'm happy to help test the ...

Using on-camera motion detection
Is anyone using on-camera motion detection with Grandstream cameras? Possibly using the "Alarm HTTP server" setting to communicate motion triggers to zmtrigger.pl, similar to what's described in the Axis motion detection wiki?

Intel NUC as Zoneminder server?
Has anyone tried, or has any thoughts on using an Intel NUC as a Zoneminder platform?

Re: Camera doesn't work after upgrade
I just did the same upgrade and have a Wanview (Foscam clone) coming tomorrow which may not work now, either. Any workarounds for this issue? The Foscam is a popular camera.

Re: Grandstream GXV-3672-FHD
I am in the same boat. I bought this camera based on reviews that it worked out of the box with ZM but I get nothing in the monitor, total whitescreen, not even a frame. Any luck? EDIT: I was able to get it working by viewing the camera through its built-in webserver. As soon as I did it started wor...

Re: Quickcam Express USB showing distorted image
Does it play nice with vlc ? I am running headless, so no gui. But your links led me to this patch which seems on point: bugzilla (dot) kernel (dot) org (slash) show_bug.cgi?id=14036#c8 (Sorry, I could not post the actual URL because the forum software thought it looked too spammy). Now I just have...

Quickcam Express USB showing distorted image
Hi all, I am setting up ZoneMinder for the first time, installed onto Ubuntu 10.04 using apt-get (v1.24.2). While waiting for my IP camera to arrive I decided to try the Logitech Quickcam Express I had laying around. Ubuntu recognized the camera immediately at /dev/video0. The camera is working - yo...
