Noob questions about zmevennotification object detection on edge tpu
Hi, not sure if this is the right place for these questions? I saw the other thread about this and ordered a coral edge tpu (M.2.). I got as far as to try and start the ES but I have messed up the Lets encrypt certs. What is the way to do this? ES get permission denied. Certs owned by root. I did no...

Re: UPS POWEROUT event to trigger Zoneminder
Thanks for all the input! So, it seems like a good idea to issue a zmtrigger |off| at low battery event. I am still testing and playing around with this. I am considering adding a fail safe |on+3600| at the power loss event. Would that be a problem if a |off| command comes before failsafe 3600? Also...

UPS POWEROUT event to trigger Zoneminder
I have a APCUPS connected to my ZM installation. The apcupsd daemon generates events like powerout and onbattery. The apsupsd then executes custom bash scripts with the same name in a certain folder. I made two script, powerout and mainsback. Powerout will trigger a recording on all monitors. Mainsb...

[SOLVED] Zmtrigger not starting
Ok, found the solution.
In the Servers section, the server itself needs to have the "Run Trigger Process" option set.

[SOLVED] Zmtrigger not starting
I cant make zmtrigger start with Zoneminder.
There is nothing in the logs. I have OPT_TRIGGERS checked.
I can start it with "sudo /usr/bin/zmtrigger.pl" and it works just fine.
What am I doing wrong?
I am on Ubuntu 18.04, latest Zoneminder.
Thanks,

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get full-upgrade
sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:iconnor/zoneminder-1.32
and all worked fine!
Thanks!

dpkg tries to change ownership on remote mounted events folder
On Armbian Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) with "deb http://www.deb-multimedia.org buster main non-free" the installer tries to change ownership of remote directory's. This fails. Should it do this? sudo dpkg --configure -a Setting up zoneminder (2:1.32.3-dmo4+deb10u2) ... chown: changing own...

Re: /dev/shm goes 100% with no cameras
Thank you, I suspect this is the problem. Using multi server Zoneminder with a opi doesn't really solve my problem. I just want to stream 3 USB cameras to the more powerful main server for motion detection. And that is the opposite of what multi server ZM is all about if I understand correctly. Thanks

Re: /dev/shm goes 100% with no cameras
This is a multi server setup.
One server has all funktions.
The Pi has only the camera part.
What should ZM_SERVER_HOST point to? Always it self?
Thanks

/dev/shm goes 100% with no cameras
Hi, I am trying to set up a Zoneminder server on a orangePi running Armbian. Plan is to have a USB camera connected and add this server as a multiserver install to my main Zoneminder server. But /dev/shm keeps getting full. Whatever I do. Just starting Zoneminder without any camera configured. What ...

[Solved] Upgrading on armhf/Armbian
Hi, how do I force apt-get to use a repo for latest 1.32 on a orangepiplus2e running Armbian (armhf). Re: Accessing V4L cameras on *other* devices!!
I was experimenting with v4l2rtspserver on SBC:s and USB cams. My goal was to stream 3 Logitech C930e from RAW max resolution through v4l2tools. This worked well at moderate resolutions but I had some problems at highest settings. Unfortunately my cams were fried by lightning so I never finished the...

Re: Can't watch recordings after apt-get update
You are running a version from the zoneminder-master PPA. This is a development version so you can expect things to not work. If you need to have a working system switch to the zoneminder-1.32 PPA and overwrite your existing install. I think I followed your howto with a script and got that PPA. Can...

How do you change ppa?
I think I installed with the wrong ppa.
I installed on ubuntu 18.04 using:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/iconnor/zonemi ... ter/ubuntu
Can I just change it to:
ppa:iconnor/zoneminder-1.32
Thanks
