No i have postfix and it is being very difficult not sure what the other perl package you mention is all about. OK i have setup a working instance of ssmtp and verified that i can send mail from the Zoneminder host. However i am still not seeing anything from zoneminder in my inbox There are no entries in the /var/log/mail.log regarding zoneminder trying to send mail.
