Re: log errors opensuse 12.2
You need to install zoneminder version that has ffmpeg support enabled (MP version?). The stock opensuse version probably doesn't have. Or you may compile zoneminder yourself with ffmpeg enabled. http://forums.opensuse.org/english/other-forums/looking-something-other-than-support/392379-zoneminder.h...

Re: Help with Axis 241Q setup
Try rtsp. rtsp://<ip>/mpeg4/#/media.amp where # is channel number.

Re: log errors opensuse 12.2
It may be that the OpenSuse repository is not compiled with ffmpeg support enabled.

Re: Two camera same video recorded. (SOLVED)
If it's a cheap IP camera, those might have problems with continuous stream maximum fps. You could try to reduce frame rate from the camera (not zm) to fix the issue.

Username and password can be specified before the Axis IP address. For example username:password@192.168.14.15 in source tab.

Re: Don't waste your time on ZM 1.25 - Stay with 1.24
Mastertheknife's performance patch is hard to install on 1.24, don't know if even possible. Without the patch my weak Atom nettop would have extreme difficulties in performing motion detection tasks necessary. Shame you weren't successful with your hardware, but most people will be successful with 1...

If the trendnet seems to be out of focus, it probably is. Have you googled instructions on how to adjust focus?

Re: How do I run "zmu -d <device> -q -v" against an IP camer
You should put the camera in monitor mode and check the logs. The zma errors are all related to the motion detection process. Disable motion detection to get rid of those and then start searching for the real problem first. You shouldn't need ffmpeg with foscam, my foscam works well with zm in built...

Re: Help with Axis 241Q setup
Zoneminder can be setup to monitor separate channels on the Axis video server. At least on Axis 2400 you create up to four separate monitors with the channel number specified in the image path, for example camera 2 it would be: /axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi?camera=2&resolution=704x576 I'm quite sure ...

Re: Two camera same video recorded.
I think the usb camera driver problem is a separate issue which does not concern you as you have a capture card. No experience with capture cards but you could try the captures per frame setting. (2?)

Re: How do I run "zmu -d <device> -q -v" against an IP camer
You should first try to set up the camera in monitor mode before setting up motion detection. What kind of settings do you have in the camera settings tab (source)? Are resolution settings correct? Don't know if zmu can be used on ip cameras.

Re: Is this normal?
Have you tried the recommended measures? slow down capture (reduce frame rate from camera), speed up analysis (create smaller zones, use simpler analyzing) or increase ring buffer size (from monitor parameters)

Re: How do I run "zmu -d <device> -q -v" against an IP camer
What do you mean you can't view images? Are you sure you have set up the monitor parameters correctly? Do you see live stream in zoneminder and have problem accessing captured events (btw mocord records constantly but has motion detection too. modect records only on motion)? In case you have set up ...

Perhaps RTSP has to be setup in the camera settings somehow.
