zmfilter stops on [Creating notification email] - SOLVED

Hi all, I've been searching for awhile and I'm not seeing this spefic error listed anywhere. This is a fresh install of Peter's -9 deb on Ubuntu 7.04 server. I'm trying to set up email and ftp, and I've got ftp upload working nicely with a filter. But email doesn't work. I'm tailing /var/log/message...

Sounds like you need: If you get no pictures from your Hardware video device or you 'sources' display as red, ie. not working, you can temporarily test the permissions of /dev/video* as being an issue by typing :- chmod 666 /dev/video0 (or /dev/video* where * is your device, 0, 1, 2 etc.) The chmod ...

/usr/share/zoneminder/zm_html_styles.css handles a lot of the output; I use it to customize the link colors. If you add a "body" entry you might end up changing the background on all the pages, so if you want something console specific, you'll need to do more searching in /usr/share/zonemi...

Lo and behold, searching for "division by zero" rather than "divide by zero" was the key. Set all your monitors up in a group, and then it'll work. There was mention of a fix to be applied in an earlier version (like 1.21 or something) - I wonder why some of us are still experien...

I'm not sure if you're still following this thread, but I'm seeing this as well (also on Ubuntu 7.04 with the .deb installer). I see it only in IE so far; Firefox works. The problem with the montage view, from what I can tell, is that the $rows variable must be zero (that's on the line 54 it mention...

There's a note here: http://www.wikihow.com/Change-the-Timezone-in-Linux that "Some applications (such as PHP) have separate timezone settings from the system timezone". Maybe that is what's at work here? I'm not sure how old that document is, though, vs. ubuntu 7.10. From ubuntuforums.org...

Pardon the question, but did you search? The answers are definitely here. You'll need to modify your modprobe file and set card=77 for bttv. You should be able to search on those keywords and get specific posts. Also check the Wiki under "capture cards" for sample modprobe lines including ...

I had this exact problem with my pico2000 card. The solution for me was to change frames per capture (or is it captures per frame...whichever) from 1 to 2 in the options panel. Of course on a pico2000 that takes a bad frame rate and makes it dismal, but it definitely worked. My eventual solution was...

I checked permissions. Cambozola.jar was owned by root an in group root, as was everything in /usr/share/zoneminder. It was world readable, but just for kicks I did chmod a+wrx cambozola.jar no difference. I also tried chown and chgrp'ing everything to www-data, but that doesn't seem to help either....

My ZM system works wonderfully otherwise. Stills work perfectly, though I usually use Firefox because I like the real time streaming better. edit: on one system I just get the text noted above in my earlier post. On another system running IE7, I lose my internet connection completely when it tries t...

I followed Lee's very easy instructions, and all I see is "Cambozola V0.22 (c) Andy Wilcock, 2001" in the center of the image window. When I click on it, it shows a URL and FPS is "0". I'll have to poke around the logs, but if anyone else has a quick fix let me know. I'm using Ub...

What kind of network cam? I have a couple of IP cams that feed jpgs, and the frame rate has to be pretty low to work. I also see 2-3 second "freezes" now and then where the cam seems overloaded. I've noticed it all the time, including when motion starts. Do you have normal CCTV cams (with ...
