Re: zmaudit.pl is hammering mysql 100% cpu
Yup this was due to a field not being indexed -- it is fixed in master. I suppose there will be a 108 soon?

Re: Modect + Record
I use a ZM function called mocord which records all the time but also flags events when motion is detected. My setup is in a warehouse with 17 IP cameras. Now, to save storage space I turn all but the three outdoor cameras to modect when the place is closed. The three outside cameras remain on moco...

Re: Application of filters.
You can apply it to only certain monitors - use the "Monitor Id" or "Monitor Name" fields in the filters.
rmflagg wrote:When you create a filter, does that filter apply to all of your monitors? Can you have it apply to only certain monitors?
Thanks!

Re: ZmNinja: Release specific notes
I just noticed that pinch zooming the timeline works properly (i.e. it won't jump back to original scaling) if you lift one finger before the other. Thanks for that tip. I am using a complicated 3rd party library called vis for the timeline for now which looks too complicated for me to dive in - so...

Re: New Real time Event Notification Service for ZM
I've just released a new version of the Event Server (0.2). It's currently in the "experimental" branch. Will be migrated to stable branch soon https://github.com/pliablepixels/zmeventserver/tree/experimental New features: you can now register specific monitors for which events will be bro...

Re: Real time event notification with zmNinja (0.81+)
And now, iOS push notifications However, till I host my own server, it still won't work for you. If you are an iOS developer and have access to iOS member center, you can generate your own push certificates and use the experimental branch of zmeventserver https://github.com/pliablepixels/zmeventserv...

Re: ZmNinja: Release specific notes
Just noticed that the monitor list also resets if you happen to start the app without a network connection to your ZM server (e.g., outside wifi range). One whoops and the list is gone. It's not really gone. Connect back to Wifi and simply pull to refresh and it will be back in. I don't see any use...

Re: ZmNinja: Release specific notes
Note, if you are using 1.28.107 ppa, I just realized it is not installing php5-gd. That is why all of you are reporting that "Quick scrub" of events is not working in zmNinja while full view of event is working. They both use the same command, except in the former, it also requests ZM to s...

Re: ZmNinja: Release specific notes
I set up SSL on my Apache server and turned on SSL on zmNinja but would not validate. When I connect with a web browser I have to accept the certificate. Installed .82 and am running through the features. Still can't connect with SSL. Will work on setting up the event server tonight unless honey do...

Okay, please keep it running in this mode (command line) and try it with zmNinja to make sure its able to parse the JSON objects etc before you move it to zmdc
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Which iconnor ppa?
Hi Guys, I'm confused as to which PPA I should use for an Ubuntu 14.04 installation. What is the difference between the two iconnor PPAs and which should I use? zoneminder -- OR -- zoneminder-master Why would one be preferred over the other? Thanks zoneminder is for stable versions. zoneminder-mast...

Re: Real time event notification with zmNinja (0.81+)
Awesome - thanks for trying. 1) Please don't run it via zmdc for now. Can you please run it manually "sudo ./zmeventnotification.pl" and then see? (logs will still go to syslog) (Before you do this make sure you kill it and also remove it from zmdc restart otherwise it will keep getting re...
