I have just found out that this camera is also known as a: A-MTK AM9060M.

I found out why Source Path path was getting cut down. I had to edit the zm database and change the, monitors, source path, from varchar(64) to varchar(128), It will now save the full path. If you read my 1st post in the link above, you would see that my servers folders are "/var/cache/zoneminder/events" not "/usr/share/zoneminder/events".

I am also having grate problems getting my MegaPixel IP camera working via rtsp.

I have only been able to use http stream, but the http stream in the camera is preset to 640x480 @ 5FPS.
