Re: ZM and phone notifications

Hi, ZM can do everything you have suggested already by using custom scripts that execute based on a filter. The only issue I have had with that method for audio alerts is that there is too much of a delay. I've written a perl deamon that watches the ZM logs for the start of an event and sends an aud...

Re: Time to next event = 1 seconds

Well... I feel better then! Running the commandline below after stopping ZM fixed it for me. mysqlcheck --all-databases --auto-repair -uzmuser -p Entered the ZM password at the prompt and it repaired the DB ... I also had to change my "Pre event image count" to be set lower than "Imag...

Re: Time to next event = 1 seconds

Thank you very much for the link! It seems that you are suggestion that I repair the DB and I recall doing that from the cmd line at some point so I will give it a shot. It also seems from searching on Innodb, that the newer versions of ZM might not have this issue, but I wasn't clear on your post i...

Time to next event = 1 seconds

I've been using many versions of ZM over the years and it seems that this problem persists for me. When I try to play the video of an event I see a few frames and then a text message on a black frame that says, "Time to next event = 1 seconds". The playback then stops. I've found the line ...

Re: Debian package apparently abandoned

Seems like there won't be any choice but to switch to libav?

Re: Debian package apparently abandoned

I really wish I could help, but builds are not my strong point. I'll start asking around though and see if I can pick at the issues.

Re: Debian package apparently abandoned

I sure hope Peter or someone else can get a new debian package going for 1.25 soon.

Re: Zoneminder install DVD 1.24.x (3/7/2011)

I've tried many different installs over the years and this set of instructions with an install script for Ubuntu 10.10 has been by far the best and required the least amount of tweeks.

I'm happy to share my minor tweeks/fixes if you need any.

Re: Time to next event = 1 seconds

Thanks, I'm betting that changing the buffers back will fix it since I did up them quite a bit. I'm not sure how to properly capture full videos now though...without generating multiple small events.

Time to next event = 1 seconds

What is the problem with video playback presenting the message "Time to next event = 1 seconds". I have been seeing this on several different install of ZM on both Arch and Ubuntu. I can't seem to find any mention in the forums and certainly no resolution. I find that most of my events are...

Alexvas, I've been trying to use the new features, but realized that the only way I can get tiny cam to work with my ZM install is to use the method specified in this thread where I input the full url of the camera in the "Edit JPEG image address" field in advanced settings. As you can und...

Alexvas, Thanks for the new features! What I meant by "wake" and "sleep" buttons was to provide on and off buttons for the PTZ controllable ZM cameras because most cameras support "can wake" and "can sleep" functions in ZM. I personally leave my PTZ camera tur...
