Re: Streaming to Twitch, Youtube or some other live streaming service
You can always just embed the stream in a webpage. I don't know how many viewers ZM can handle (i.e. if you have 100's of people.). Maybe something like OBS would be better suited for it. There are notes on setting up a website here: https://wiki.zoneminder.com/External_Live_Stream#Webpage_to_View_S...

Re: Upload images for viewing on a webpage
I don't know _where_ exactly I would have to put that script. So if ZoneMinder is set to take a single snapshot with the URL you gave me, the script would have to rename image001 to image002, image002 to image003, etc. and then upload it to my website. And removing image100 (the old 100). I don&quo...

Re: Upload images for viewing on a webpage
I would like ZoneMinder to upload pictures with FTP (not events and without compression like tar/zip) and rename them so I have for instance 100 pictures. Only the newest 100 pictures should be kept, so my webspace doesn't get overloaded. The renaming is so I can make a webpage where I can see thos...

Re: Debian 12 "Bookworm" with Zoneminder 1.36.33 Install Procedure
Just guessing. I don't have 1.36 w/ bookworm but hopefully this will help. You should edit the logs so they don't show your address. As to the error, a search on the forum comes up empty, which is interesting. Actually, this came up on the forum. I don't think this is it, but it's the closest hit. T...

Re: Need Advice for a 16ch NVR system for a NonProfit.
I need to know what would be the correct system to procure to run a hybrid 16+ channel NVR system. I would like to reuse the 8 channels of analog cameras we have, but it's not a deal breaker for us to go full NVR, and I have recommended that to the powers that be. We really need to record audio for...

Re: Security camera's in a van...
The problem you will have is keeping this energy efficient. To run 5 cameras you usually need an x86 based processor. You didn't specify what resolution or framerate you want, so if you were to say some kind of low res (320x240 or maybe 640x480), then you might be able to run an ARM. The alerts also...

Re: cameras mounts to show vibration
That might work with the microphones. Interesting idea. I don't know if you'd see false alerts. Arduino is always an option. https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Arduino Some cameras have IO connectors you can tie into. Or you can use zmtrigger. This is probably a niche use case, so I don't know how many fol...

Re: Debian 12 "Bookworm" with Zoneminder 1.36.33 Install Procedure
I have a problem now with the web page not showing correctly in my browser. For example the login screen looks like this:- Check the javascript error logs. I have seen this error, though I can't say it's the same error (I haven't used bookworm yet). Hopefully if you find an error in the js logs you...

Re: Viewing zone settings
I never was able to get consistent results with zones. ZMES works like 98% of the time which is good enough. You pretty much have to use ZMES if you want email alerts for person detection, unless you camera is in an area that won't see any sunlight or whatnot.

Re: Analysis creates 10 sec events
Ok, so it's not necessarily an issue of 1.36 or 1.37. Although 1.36 is not going to update as much, so I would still lightly recommend that. If you are not going to update 1.37, though you can go with that. You are running 1280x960, and you mentioned you have analysis enabled. A few ideas: 1) Did yo...

Re: Analysis creates 10 sec events
I think I'd recommend simply running 1.36, the stable release instead.
Though this is the first I've heard of such an error.

Re: Event playback issues - Fresh Install with PVE Container
Conclusion: Until I test this out, my understanding is... if you don't have h264 compatible cameras and must use jpeg, this issue still exists and isn't avoidable. I would have avoided this issue if this information was in the Ubiquiti Cam setup wiki, as they are compatible for this. I'm not sure i...

Re: Get latest Frame (jpg) from camera?
This works well. Here's an example webpage that reloads the image w/js every couple seconds in case anyone is interested. The zmu I put in cron. <head> <title>Camera</title> <script type="text/javascript" > setInterval(function() { var myImageElement = document.getElementById('myImage'); m...
