Re: a few weeks zoneminder with black screen

In your /etc/modprobe.d/bttv.conf check for these lines:

alias char-major-81-0 bttv
options bttv gbuffers=32 card=77 tuner=4 radio=0 coring=1 full_luma_range=1 chroma_agc=1 combfilter=1 autoload=0 triton1=0 vsfx=0

Have you tried increasing the "Overload Frame Ignore Count" in the zone settings?

Re: Weird horizontal lines with PV-155 card.

I've seen this issue twice. Once it was a bad power supply for the camera and the second was a bad ballast in a florescent light fixture. Both times cleaning up the power to the cameras was the fix. Just curious: Did you try BGR24 for a capture palette? (Keep in mind that all monitors using a single...

Re: Record triggered by different cam

Set up 2 monitors for the camera. One high, one low res.; set high function to monitor, set low to MoDect and then link high to low. You're going to need to play around with this but it is entirely possible.

Re: Evens are broken up into short segments

Set the Post Event Image Count to 10 seconds (fps * 10; as in 10 fps times 10 seconds gives a value of 100). This will cure your problem.

Re: 1.25 => 1.26.5: incredible false positives for motion- H

Try changing the value for: "monitor::buffer::Alarm Frame Count" to a value of 4. I've never had to go that high (usually 2 or 3 stops this) but your example shows 3 consecutive false alarms.

Never tried to use FTP (Apache might need some configuring) but with HTTP use NODECT as your function and configure camera. Here is a link to an Axis camera setup - http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... nDetection
