Re: Save pre-event from external command

I don't think there is an easy way to capture the pre-event frames. Well not within Zoneminder, you could manipulate the event output post capture with a script.

Re: Hardware recommendation, 10 to 15 cameras, 5mp

When it comes to Hardware it's down to personal opinion really. There is no one size fits all as there are far to many variables in play. As an example I run my setup on VMware across 5 servers, each with 8 vCPU's running at 2.5Ghz and give them 10Gb of RAM. I've got three IP cameras per server all ...

NGINX Configuration for Multi Server Setup

I've been using Ngnix as a reverse proxy for some time now and managed to get a working solution for my setup. It's lacking in a few areas, but certainly work about. What I would like to get working is the FPS output that's below the camera. I've attached two images below to show and my Nginx conf. ...

Re: new zm vm

Let's start with a little more information. You post is very limited in details.
  • What's the hypervisor your using to host the VM?
  • What webcams are you using?
  • How do you connect them?
This should help get the conversation going

[QUESTION] GSSPROXY Service

I've setup monitoring against my system and one of the alerts is that gssproxy.service is running but is not enabled. Is this used within ZoneMinder or am I save to disable it?

If it's used, are there any issues with setting it to enabled?

I have now upgraded to 1.36.3 and things have become more usable. Still however have ghosting issues when using Camera Passthrough rather than selecting the encoding.

Issues post upgrade from 1.34.x to 1.36.1

I have recently upgraded my setup and come across number of issues. Prior to completing the upgrade my setup was rock solid. I have a multi server setup all running Centos 7 and on VMWare. Each VM has 8 vCPU's and 2Gb of RAM. All of my cameras are IP and streaming at 15fps, which is there maximum. L...

Re: cutted movement detection

I've re-read your post about 5 times now and I'm still not sure what issue your trying to resolve. Could you explain what your trying to achieve with the camera at a basic level. No need to go into details. Also it would be worth while providing your current settings for the camera your having issue...

Re: Configuration file containing camera settings

I can't answer your question directly, but will try and offer some form of help. As you say the camera works fine via VLC, so it should also work with ZoneMinder. Can you share the current configuration for the camera as it could be that you've either missed something or someone may have an alternat...

Re: Multiple servers

I also run a multi server setup, but have a separate DB server. My setup has 4 frontend servers, each with three cameras. They vary in terms of CPU load, all down to the camera, location, and amount of activity. I've moved cameras around to try and balance the load, but presently this isn't managed ...

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pyzm.ml.face_train'

This would suggest either the module is missing or is not in the default location. Have you checked the location of the file pyzm.ml.face_train

Re: Anpviz Cam in ZoneMinder

I've a got a few of these cameras. You'll need to make sure you have configured the camera via it's own web interface. Under the Network configuration section, got the subsection service ports and make that for RSTP there is no tick in the Authentication checkbox. But once you've done, all you need ...

The first number is the current connections you have in place to the database and the second number if the maximum available connections.

Re: How to increase DB 68/151

You need to make a few changes to the MySQL config. Depending on your OS, you need to edit my.cnf, for me this was located in /etc/my.cnf. Here's mine, I have 9 cameras running with two streams each. Also get hold of "mysqltuner.pl" and run that against your server to see what other config...
