Re: Update Diskspace for events

One more thing .. can you explain the relationship between the disk space metric and the UpdateDiskSpace filter?

Thanks

Re: Update Diskspace for events

I had a similar problem and updated to the most current 1.35.6 without resolution. I updated to 1.35.7 and still have the same issue. What am I missing here? There are two filters in the standard build ... PurgeWhenFull and UpdateDiskSpace. Why is there a filter to update disk space? zm-filter-sql.P...

Re: New Events view WIP

Previous to the new events display you could access all events. The top of the page showed a page indicator and you could easily jump around. In the new view you get 25 events in 3 pages and that's it. Say I want to look at three days ago, you could cycle thru the pages to find three days ago. Has t...

Re: New Events view WIP

Also, the page control does not work beyond the 3 pages it shows.

Re: New Events view WIP

If you choose 25 lines per page you lose the lower right pages control.

I would like to see a >> to jump to the end

Re: New Events view WIP

New events look is nice.

One question, how do you jump to the most recent events?

In the past you could do this from the pages listed at the top. I assume maybe you would use the timeline but I keep 3 months of history and the timeline is very slow.

Am I missing something?

Re: More resolution (4K) and motion detection/perf

I've re-read the motion detection and zone discussion on the wiki. https://wiki.zoneminder.com/index.php/Understanding_ZoneMinder%27s_Zoning_system_for_Dummies I was making this more difficult than needed. More resolution doesn't really change the way the system works and the techniques for VGA appl...

Re: ZM Event Notification - good?

Using on 1.35.x with the latest zmeventnotification.

Such a great addition to zoneminder and so powerful. Works awesome! Incorporate with license plate detecton for even better results.

I customized the zm_detect component for email alerting ... love it.

More resolution (4K) and motion detection/perf

A big thanks to the Zoneminder devs for an awesome package. The recent additions for object detection make zoneminder such a powerful tool ... amazing! As cameras with higher resolutions become cheaper the performance question will likely be more common. Fine tuning your system is a non-trivial effo...

Re: Zoneminder event reset - disk failure

I believe zmaudit will cleanup all the inconsistencies but it was disabled in options -> system. I re-enabled it. Is it standard practice to have zmaudit disabled by default? I'm running 1.33.16

Thx

Zoneminder event reset - disk failure

I've searched to find a procedure on resetting events after a disk failure. I run several zoneminder systems, some with raid10 and others with raid0. Regardless, let say you have a storage failure.. zoneminder and the db are intact but all the storage side content is gone. What next? Basically, how ...

Re: Upgraded to 1.33.15 and lost web interface

Appreciate the reply ... I commented out the following in function html_radio and the UI is operational but compromised. Is there a way to validate the dataset? There must be corrupt formatting in $attr and/or $value stream that creates the php error. #$html .= sprintf(' # <div class="form-chec...

Upgraded to 1.33.15 and lost web interface

First off .. thanks to all who contribute to zoneminder. I have been happily running 1.33.14 with object detection and upgraded to 1.33.15 with zmeventnotification to 4.6.1. The install completed without errors but I cannot figure out why /usr/share/zoneminder/www/includes/functions.php throws an er...
