zm works perfectly on opensuse 64 bit. I used it on 11.3, 11.4 and use now on 12.1. I recommend that you use liquid-co.de repo.

Yes, standard ssl port is 443 but you can use 8080 or other port for ssl... I thought you'ld like to use 8080 port for ssl... Otherwise you can redirect http traffic automatically to https... Here is two important context, formula.
storage space (bits)= picture file size*frame per second*time in second
picture file size (bits)= H*W*color depth (24 or 32 bit)

I think something is wrong. Did you configure apache ssl on zm server? You redirected 8080 port from WAN to LAN on sme server. If you configured here the ssl it is ineffective, because sme server will to redirect all traffic on 8080 port to LAN and doesn't control ssl on this port. You need to confi...
