well it should do.. but you need CPU power for processing the monitor motion tracking and encoding events... and an the raspberry isn't capable for that.
You also don't have an PCI-slot so you only can use USB or IP-camera's.
So I think it's an no-go!

Re: How can I reach Zoneminder from the public Internet
MMM you know how to config an ZM-server and you don't know anything about IP-configurations? thats strange... But here an very limited howto: 1) detect your IP to the www. with : http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and note it. (something like: 81.57.3.999 or so..) 2) You have to forward your ZM-server po...

Re: Zoneminder server settings
Should I increase both the Buffer & Pre event count? NO! First understood what these settings are. With an buffer your system keeps 85 images into the RAM memory before the are droped or recorded at an event. the PRE and POST buffers are the count of images that are recored before of after an a...

Re: Apply Motion Detection on avi files
no it isn't possible. ZM works with an algorithm that detects divergences between 2 (or more) frames / pictures that are captured in the software. and it's not processing any kind of videostreams. you can view videostreams but thats an complete other feature than record through an video stream or fi...

Re: Any chance I can use this Hardware?
Hi,
I'm using an Intel celeron 1.6 ghz (mobile) processor in an mini ITX system and it works fine with an PCI BTTV capturecard an 3 cam's on 5 frames/sec.
So I think you can use it.
(I'm using ubuntu 11 64 server install, and a 20 GB harddrive (5400rpm) , 1 GB ram but I use only 450 mb of RAM)

Re: Daily alarm events video script
Hello Pierre C, I'm uploading the dailyvids to an (netgear) NAS every night by running an CRON job (made with webmin 1.75) and running it every morning at 8AM. Not from 24H to 24H the next day because most events are happening in the Night. open webmin and make an CRON job sign the path to yo...

Re: Full Screen four cameras on ZM Box
The only thing that I can say is that I confirm the slow playing of a monitor screen with 4 cams on it. The reason for that is probably the JAVA applet (cambojar) that "eats" a lot of resources of the pc/server. In my case it sets a P4 celeron 1.6ghz to 70% load! So my sollution is looking...

Re: Daily alarm events video script
Ok that's an sorting issue with events that has more than 1000 frames. My cam's have a max of 5 FPS (frames/second) so an single event of more than 200 seconds (3.3 minute) isn't show often. But If you have an very high frame-rate like 20 FPS will show within 50 seconds. The way to get rid of this p...

Re: Daily alarm events video script
Does anyone have this script working... the sort is wrong so it puts an old frame in out of order, making a very jump video.... how can the sort be done so that it is by maybe file date? That's some basic linux commands. look at these (commented!) lines from the script: # Sort output file for a con...

Re: Events record: play in montage view
It is possible to have the list of events of all monitors in the same time (mean on a single list), but unfortunately, playing events is a single view. yes that's possible just navigate to the console page and press on the total amount of events line beneath all the monitors. (example.. monitor 1 d...
