I just started to look at mjpg streamer yesterday but it seems there are several different forks and it's hard to know which version is working.

I'm not sure the RPI Cam is a v4l device (I'm using a regular USB webcam on my pi, but I haven't managed to get a picture yet).

You get the stream, and not a web page with the stream embedded? (Try to "View page source" to make sure.)

I have never used mjpeg-streamer (yet, it's on my todo list:), but it seems as if you are getting a web page as response instead of a video stream. Something is probably wrong in the URL, it might be that you are getting an error page. What happens if you in your web browser connects to http://root:...

This sounds as if you have made "bad" changes to your PATH. What does 'echo $PATH' say?

I don't know for sure, but maybe signal loss only works for local cameras though a video capture card? So it won't work for IP cameras or even USB cameras?

Do you need to save the stream zoneminder uses? Zoneminder can use File as a source, but from what I understand the file must be a JPEG and not a video.

If you can make it save one frame at a time as JPEG instead of the MJPEG stream you should be set.

The look of zoneminders windows is controlled by CSS, though I'm not sure which file is best to edit. I'd probably try editing the skins, but it looks as if background is defined in reset.css.

Ah, I was so sure that Modect didn't record any frames... *facepalm*

But how would the length of events have anything to do with this? There is no alarm, thus zm should not record any event. The question is not why zm does not stop the recording, the question is why it starts it when there is no alarm. The log line shown above occurs immediately when I switch to Moco...

As soon as I set any Monitor (I have 3 set up) to Mocord zm starts recording Continuous events... There is no score at all, 0 alarm frames, 0 total score, 0 Avg. score, 0 Max. score, thus there is no triggering on the zones. But it still keeps recording and recording... What could be causing this? T...
