Re: Securing the login page
So we can just edit the functions.php with that code, then add the actual captcha code to the login page/actions.php? That is awesome that you have managed to get this put in so quick! No, we are conflating two completely different features. 1. What knniggett added in his PR (Pull Request) is a log...

Re: Filter does not run quickly after event
I'm very sorry - I've been very caught up of late and haven't been able to dive into this. Would you do me a favor please so we can short-circuit the debugging process? 1 Please make a copy of your zmfilter.pl 2. Re: Securing the login page
I never had the need to secure it beyond what was already available. I just added HTTPS. But given this thread, I gave it a go - it was pretty trivial to add re-Captcha for instance. http://i.imgur.com/oesliqb.png Modify login.php to insert the div and edit actions.php to handle the POST callback ch...

Re: Filter does not run quickly after event
My guess is you are using a relative time field in your filter. Please post a picture of your filter to imgur.com and please post the link. Please put in spaces if you are not yet allowed to post links.

Sounds good MJN - glad you figured it out and thanks for posting!
I completely agree that just having a sounding board often helps.

Okay, once you are done, please send me an email and I'll add you to the Android beta testing program. If you have iOS, I can add you to that too.

Re: ZM sending e-mails... even when configured not to!
Thanks for the idea Asker however I've ruled out cron as the times are quite sporadic and there's no Date: header (whereas cron does insert given its use of the local mailer). I've set a script running now to keep an eye on all outgoing port 25 connections and so will hopefully catch what process i...

Re: Changing Web interface
This used to be the case in earlier versions. To my knowledge, as of today if you go to options and select default CSS to flat it is written in the Database and if you clear your cookies it picks up the default from the DB. Take a look at login.php around line 62 to get an idea of its order of check...

Re: Changing Web interface
No automatic way to do it, but its very easy. Just edit the relevant line in login.php for the login change and console.php for the main screen change. They are both in skins/classic/views Note that the next time you upgrade it will get removed Hi guys, I was wondering if there was any way to change...

Re: ZM sending e-mails... even when configured not to!
It doesn't sound like ZM is sending you emails. It seems your cron is sending you emails due to some failed jobs. This may help you http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/disable-the-mail-alert-by-crontab-command/ My installation of ZoneMinder (v1.28.100) is behaving rather strangely... From time to time it i...

Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja
I have 6 permanent and 2 extra. In the future i'd like to have two optical zoom cams, so maybe 10 to test with. Depends on cost of the cameras though. Okay thanks. To be able to test the client you need to install a custom version of ZM https://github.com/pliablepixels/zmNinja/wiki/Configuring-Zone...

Re: Getting Zoneminder to start automatically
Hi, I running Zoneminder V1.28.1 under Ubuntu Server 14.04.3 LTS. I've configured my PC to boot automatically after a power failure, and Zoneminder also starts once the system boots. However, it comes up in the 'Stopped' state which is not good. I want it to automatically enter the 'Running' state ...

Here is a video of the client - I've added it to the first post as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSIMic2V6Jo&feature=youtu.be (twice and OhmMega - will contact you for testing in a few days. I am waiting for a prepackaged PPA - if that doesn't happen in a few days, well, just build from s...

Re: Unable to see monitor
You need to post: a) How many cameras do you have configured and what resolution b) What is the ZM version (you provided that 1.28.1, ubuntu) c) How did you install it - package or from source d) Detailed logs of what happens when you are viewing the monitor and any other errors/warnings (you can ge...
