Personally, I wouldn't mind more megapixel IP cameras, mine are all working fine with zoneminder, though the motion detection was offloaded to the cameras. IO's probably the biggest issue, you want/need a raid.

Try the axis ip/mpeg4/, rtp/rtsp/http preset, change your path from to /0 and src to user:pass@ip.addr.ess see if that works If all else fails, you can probably make it an ffmpeg feed. I'm assuming you're using zm 1.24.2. Obviously adjust the resolution settings to whatever the camera's spitting out.

Do you have zms processes running when you're attempting to view them? Perhaps the cgi's in the wrong place or has the wrong permissions? Do any cameras work? Is it complaining about shared memory in the logs?
