The source path is only /dev/video or /dev/video0, and not /dev/video (0) nor /dev/video0 (0).

/dev/video0 is a softlink for /dev/video

or for testing purposes:

1- Stop ZoneMinder
2- Unload bttv driver with: modprobe -r bttv
3- Load driver: modprobe bttv card=77 tuner=4
4- Start ZoneMinder

Now test if you see the colors with your camera. If succesfully, copy the same parameter as Cordel say you.

As for a bug tracker, I can put one up and we can see how that works out. But I suspect that it will likely end up being more work than it's worth. Thank you Cordel!! I will make the effort to instruct the people to use only the bug tracker to repot the bugs or posible bugs, and search before report.

Are you load bttv module with card=77 parameter?

Another reason is most people fail to search or do any research before posting, I had a bug tracker available on a project for 6 months and spent as much time sorting and removing/merging duplicate issues as I did on the forum answering the same questions which in turn are usually again duplicates....
