Can you access it directly from the browser? I.e. http://192.168.100.200/video1.mjpg On my cameras, I can do so and see the video stream in the browser. Also you may need to put the login:password in front of the URL like this: http://login:pwd@192.168.100.200/video1.mjpg In your source panel you wi...

kingofkya, I see you are in Vegas, I used to work for a company that did
business with South West Gas, spent some time out there. We got bought
out by a company that had no clue, the business went down the tubes.

Can you get in the overhead to pull new ones or are they between floors?
That really sux, I think I would find that guy and beat him with a piece of
cat5 with a piece of glass tied on the end.

I bet you are hard placed to get 10mb let alone 100mb, gigabit is a no starter.

I would have tried to pull new cable back through, that has got to impact
things. I have seen connectors improperly made (pairs untwisted too much)
cause speed issues. Guess if you were very careful and made sure that you
kept the twist as good as possible it may not impact much.

(same goes for receptacles, put in plenty of them and make sure that you keep the count/breaker low) I do not have any analogue video here, but if...

No thanks necessary, I have got so much help here that it is only proper pay back that I help when I can. I got a reply from the SecurityCamera2000 people, appears that they do have some cameras that are ZM compatible. I am trying to get them to put a camera on line so I can remotely access it and s...

Go to bluecherry: www.bluecherry.com and take a look at prices, they are US so I assume you have a good idea of what the deltas will be, the ACTi's are made in Taiwan, but the are good units, there are two dealers for them down there: http://www.acti.com/corporate_old/disti2.asp?CATEGORY=Australia W...

OK, I lean to what the customer will pay for (B-b) within reason. Small systems do not need the 64bit cost to them, I have a 9 cam system running on a dual core 32 bit and it is running a average load of 0.5 based on TOP. All of the cameras are IP running 640x480. So I see no reason for a system lik...

Hmm, I used Unetbootin and installed it on a memory stick but get NO OS FOUND when I try to run it I will try to put it on a DVD later on and see if it works that way. Is there a URL to a newer version, I see that you are working with one but I also see that it is 64bit. I am still working with 32 b...

memory stick but it will not boot.

I like the idea of having a page that allows access to the cameras on the video network, like you I set them up that way, it keeps things flowing well, and in general makes life easier. I do the tunnelling right now. I set up a ssh tunnel to the zm machine from the machine where I am at, then I go i...

Found it, it was a mangled db. I did the mysqlcheck command and cleared it
right up. Put a UPS on that one right away.
