Raspberry Pi not receiving photos properly
I'm running ZoneMinder 1.29 on a Ubuntu 18.04 laptop recently upgraded from 16.04, installed as per Ubuntu Server 16.04 and with apache2 listening on port 83. On my Pi, ZM is 1.30 installed as per this blog with apache2 listening on port 83. Both boxes are 'linked' to the same camera. My router Port...

Re: 100% on both CPUs
Why is zmc running even when I do not have ZoneMinder open in a Chrome browser tab? Is it reasonable to prevent zmc loading at PC boot time? If so, how do I do it?

Re: 100% on both CPUs
Ubuntu Desktop 64 bit 16.04 (fully up to date software) on both PCs. 8GB on each PC. The swap file is not getting used and the memory usage is 4.1 GB (i.e. 3+ GB spare).

100% on both CPUs
I'm getting 100% on both CPUs of an 8GB Intel Barebones box using Ubuntu 16.04. On my other same spec Barebones, there is much less CPU usage: it can go up to 100% on both processors when I run a number of apps including Chrome bit soon settles down to about 30% on each processor. I've tried amendin...

Re: Filter to delete events more than 24 hours old
What is the point of the "Archived Status" line? I've just tried "date" "less than" "24 hours ago" and it didn't delete the events just done. So that elemnet works Ok. It also seems to me that the "Sort by" & "Limit to first" lines are ...

Filter to delete events more than 24 hours old
I don't understand how to do this. I've set the name of the filter to Last 24 Hours. I've used Date/Time with "Less than" and "-24 hour". I've also tried replacing "-24 hour" by "now -24 hour". When I execute the filter, it deletes all events.

Re: Floureon SP012 camera
Just figured out the solution. /var/cache/events & /var/cache/temp (& their sub-directories & included files) were owned by root rather than www-data. So I changed their ownership & group using standard Unix CLI commands and everything Ok i.e. was able to add camera & view stream...

Re: Floureon SP012 camera
I got ZM 1.29 working Ok on another computer. So I uninstalled ZM 1.30 on this computer by purging the Ubuntu ppa for it. I then followed the instructions for installing ZM 1.29 on Ubuntu 1.29 Server at https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Ubuntu_Server_16.04_64-bit_with_Zoneminder_1.29.0_the_easy_way Howeve...

Re: Floureon SP012 camera
I just had a look at Linux's syslog. It had: Mar 25 07:35:30 John zmc_m1[1915]: INF [FloureonSP012: 75868000 - Capturing at 500.00 fps] Mar 25 07:35:30 John zmc_m1[1915]: ERR [Unable to open input rtsp://192.168.101.51:554/onvif1 due to: Operation now in progress] Is this the cause of my not seeing ...

Re: No image streaming on Floureon SP12 camera
PATH_ZMS is set to /zm/cgi-bin/nph-zms Camera resolution in ZM matches camera output obtained from vlc. So I set General->Source Path to Ffmpeg. But what do I set Source->Remote Method to (options being: TCP, UDP, UDP Multicast, HTTP Tunnel)? Also, how do I set the rest of the working vlc's 'Open Ne...

No image streaming on Floureon SP12 camera
I've upgraded from ZM 1.29 to ZM 1.30 (under Ubuntu 16.04 Desktop) as per the wiki. ZM comes up with http://localhost:81/zm/index.php (in Chrome browser) as I set Apache up (by amending the appropriate apache php file) to listen on port 81. My router has Port Forwarding on port 81 to this PC. I'm ab...

Re: Floureon SP012 camera
Upgrading ZM 1.29 to 1.30 still failed when trying to stream images. I have a feeling that it's not an ONVIF camera, as Onvifer Android app on my Android phone or table doesn't discover it as an ONVIF device even though iSpy's camera database says that it is an ONVIF device. I've similarly tried Lin...
