I, too, am looking for a solution to this. I get this sort of freeze quite often. It usually happens when I am reviewing the events that were captured over the course of the day; something about clicking the controls in the event window - especially the "<+" previous event control, seems t...

I am seeing the same problem periodically. I have 5 monitors, but it only occurs on #2 which is an analog camera coming in via a PV183 capture card I bought from BlueCherry. The other analog camera being captured with this card never exhibits the problem, nor do my 2 IP cameras or my USB webcam. Mon...

OPT_FRAME_SERVER Problems

I've been using ZM 1.24.2 for a few weeks now and up until yesterday it's been working great. Yesterday was when I went into the options page and enabled OPT_FRAME_SERVER, just to experiment. A short time later, I noticed that some of my events were not playing back properly; the video would stream ...

I didn't get any picture, either, until I completed the setup of the camera using the included configuration utility. Even though the camera was getting an IP address via DHCP and the status light was green, it refused to deliver a stream until I went in and set up an administrator account and some ...

A Minor Tweak May Be Needed

This solution didn't quite work for me. When I changed the time zone to GMT, suddenly my monitors would no longer stream. The error messages in my log said that it had been selecting 'America/Los_Angeles' as the time zone, so I tried changing the date.timezone to PST. Now the warning messages are go...

Must be a full moon out tonight or something - I just finished struggling with a very similar problem. :( I just reinstalled Linux and ZM on a machine where everything was working fine before (long story, but I needed to rearrange the partitioning so that the /var partition would have more space for...

Use Captured Footage to Fine-Tune Motion Detect Settings?

Hi all, I recently discovered ZM and have spent the last few days experimenting and learning. One problem I ran into right away is how to set up the detection zones well - either it's not sensitive enough, and people can walk right through the frame without triggering an alarm, or it's too sensitive...

I, too, have an existing X10 system based on heyu. It would be convenient if ZM could interface to the heyu daemons rather than trying to go directly to the CM11A via a serial port - then perhaps everything could peacefully coexist (and it might even simplify the code on the ZM side). I'm going to b...
