Are you sure the entry from LinkedMonitors is deleted on the settings page for the cameras? Sounds like it didn't delete correctly. Delete the entries for the linkedmonitors field. In 1.32+ I believe you have to add to the existing purge when full filter
This is probably only when you are using a storage area different from the default.
