Re: Zoneminder 1.33.X Debian 9
How would this work for an existing 1.30.4 installation running MariaDB? Does it upgrade automatically if I add the repository? I have sudo. I have Apache running and configured. I have MariaDB running. PHP is configured. Zoneminder service is enabled. Can I just?: sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list ad...

Moving to Buster (Debian Testing)?
Hi, I have not been here in a while and apparently not getting notifications either. I searched but it was not clear on the current state. I'm running 1.30.4 under Stretch in a production system and it has been rock solid. Buster is almost prime time. I want to update ZM to 1.32.x soon. Would 1.30.4...

We are coordinating with the official zoneminder package maintainer for Debian, and a working 1.32.0 package will be available soon.

Who did the backport? Should I file a bug report?

then this:
https://crud.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html
When I get some time to mess around.

Yea, I have actually rebooted. I think I need a newer version of Crud/Cake that is not in stable. I can't find the plugin.

Debian 9 1.30.0 ->1.30.4 breaks API
Did the normal sudo apt updatate and sudo apt upgrade today and was pleased to see Zoneminder 1.30.4 show up out of backports. Updated the database with sudo zmupdate.pl and Zoneminder console is working fine. zmNinja is broken. http://my_server/zm/api/host/getVersion.json gives me a blank page. Sea...

Re: Black Screen on Reolink Cameras
I found that "remote" works better than "ffmpeg" long term. Also, confirm with VLC for your image sizes. Sometimes I will lose an image and just going to the setup screen and saving without changing anything will correct the image. I think the stream gets out of sync and the deco...
