Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)
Just gave it a try - zms streaming works like a charm and so does PTZ stop! Yay! Great! Was the server selection option implemented in this latest rev or not? I have two boxes setup on my mac - my own server and a clients and by default it still logs onto the last server. Yes, but not in the way yo...

Give this version a go
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3iQz0 ... sp=sharing
There is a new option to use zms in developer settings - this should enable real fps streaming in single view mode (not when montage is showing)

Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)
Not in montage view. The reason is that Chrome does not allow more than 6 connections open to the same sub/domain. So if I enable persistent connections, it would only allow unto 6 monitors and the rest would freeze. To get around that limitation, I am doing single snapshot requests (which means I c...

McFuzz, give this version a go (OS X) https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3iQz0D8vxltWmdDNGl4aWJOSU0/view?usp=sharing a) Please check if PTZ now works - I've added a stop b) While authentication is on, I've added a "X" button - you can tap that to get out of it to the login screen thx Hey as...

Oh sorry, looks like you were already on 109 and you moved from 2015122301 to 2015120403 - I thought you upgraded from 1.28.1 to 109
Hmmm - what does syslog and apache error logs say when you view a feed?

Steve, thanks for working on your issue - been sick for a few weeks and did not have the gumption to dive into your exhaustive logs

You have likely not read that the cgi-bin path has changed. Please read this https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Common_Issu ... _on_Ubuntu (and refer to the PATH_ZMS part)

Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)
McFuzz, you are turning into my favorite tester for the following reasons: a) You use iOS b) You use my multi-server feature which no one seems to be using (and therefore lightly tested) c) You also seem to be using Pan/Tilt (which you would have observed is lightly implemented with no presets) So, ...

Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)
So then you probably don't have php5-gd installed in zm. Can you please install that package. On Ptz zm you need to explicitly tap a stop button then there may be a problem with the script. Ill take a look tomorrow 1. The image.php from the link is identical to the image.php that I currently have. A...

Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)
Hello, Got zmNinja to work on my iPhone 6 Plus - yay! Live monitor view works - yay! However, event playback does not work: it goes through the progress bar, but all I see is either a blank screen OR a picture of a camera with a question mark. Tried disabling/enabling h.264 support but it did not h...

Excellent work!
so anyone can remotely access zmNinja from their browsers?
What happens if different people navigate different views at the same time? Are all the sessions treated separately?
Do you have a writeup on everything you did?

Re: PTZ Control for DBPower IP Camera
Hi, it would be great if you could:
a) Submit a PR so ZM devs can merge your code https://github.com/ZoneMinder/ZoneMinde ... l-Requests
b) Extend the wiki for configuration instructions for that camera https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Hardware_Compatibility_List

I should have asked this earlier - when you try and access ZM, what error do you see in

Re: Viewing Zoneminder on the web
Ah, if your regular streaming is not working, neither will direct linking to zms. The error you posted above typically reflects a misconfigured apache configuration (except for the address in use, which may be an after-effect of misconfiguration, not sure) Let's start here: 1) Please post the exact ...

Re: ZMC-process: constantly increasing CPU load
Glad you found out the root cause. What value did you enter inside ZM and what was the value in-camera for this load spike to occur? @asker, Re-entering the FPS-settings in ZM leads to the same high load behaviour. I can't believe that the solution was so simple. I read about issues with setting the...
