Mmmm weird.

The extra debug logs are located in /tmp, take a look at those, or post them here.

Re: java.io.FileNotFoundException

In your options on the High B/W tab, change WEB_H_CAN_STREAM from "auto" to "yes" and WEB_H_STREAM_METHOD to "jpeg", save it and try again. Be sure to be using "Configured for HIGH speed" on your console.

Re: Port Forwarding

Like said, the default port is 80, and it's the only one you need, everything go by that port, console, streams, etc. If you don't want to wait for the firewall to be open, you could install hamachi and access it right away, it's pretty easy to setup, and works very well. https://secure.logmein.com/...

Re: Zoneminder and Mythtv web access

Well, you access you mythweb at http://ipaddress/mythweb/ or something like that, and you will access zoneminder on http://ipaddress/zm/ both on port 80, so no problem at all.

Re: Recording outside of working directory

Just create a symlink to your new directory. Backup you original event folder $ mv /usr/share/zoneminder/events /usr/share/zoneminder/eventsbackup Create the symlink $ ln -s /media/CCTV /usr/share/zoneminder/events Check the directory ls -hal /usr/share/zoneminder/ events should point to /media/CCTV...

Re: ZM 1.24.4 and 16port capture card problems

Which version of ZM are you using? and on which distro? Is your card auto detected or you're using some config? Try using the presents for bttv card, 320x240, no fps limit and check the four monitors have all the exact same settings. Turn on the extra debug in your options to see any more relevant e...

Re: Upgraded to Fedora 15, zoneminder won't start

I just run "mysqlcheck --all-databases --auto-repair -u root -p" and everything says OK, but I accessed http://192.168.0.146/zm/index.php?view=options and all the tabs are in blank, nothing appears at all. How can I recreate my configs without dropping the entire db or without deleting all...

Re: Foscam FI8918W a good fit with ZM?

Yeah, they're pretty cheap and work very nice qith ZM, look out for the updated control script, so you can pan/tilt it better, and also turn on/off the infrared leds when you need it.

I don't know if you get a stable wireless connection, but in my experience, they work better wired.

Re: System requirements for a four IP camera setup

Depends on the camera resolutions and the type of feed.

What do you have in mind? standard 640x480, or megapixel cameras?

Also don't forget to attach heatsinks to the chips, or your card will fail pretty soon.

Re: Odd Scanning view...

Are you using the same settings for your capture card? Or are you letting the system auto detect it?

That could be the problem.
