Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)

Got the update on my iPhone, working nicely so far. On my iPad the update is available but won't download. Pretty sure it's not an issue with the app, more like something with my iPad or the app store. Seen it on a few other apps from time to time. But I thought you might want a heads up. Most like...

zmu command line tool

Poking around with zmu to pull some info on my monitors at the command line and while every command I run seems to work just fine I also get an additional line of output "Segementation fault". Any ideas what might be causing this and how to fix? [root@icezone ~]# zmu -f -m 201 -U user -P p...

Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)

That fixed it, thanks! Now that the initial problem is fixed, can I do something so all the low def monitors don't show up in the montage view or will it keep the layout settings to break again? BTW, I'd like to have the low def monitors available everywhere but the montage. So I can see events from...

Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)

On iPad: Uninstalled, reinstalled, duplicated the settings by looking at my iPhone and the problem still exists.

One thing that seems odd... After reinstalling shouldn't I have seen all 20 monitors? Or is zmninja somehow able to figure out its ten cameras with two streams each?

Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)

Started app, set debug logs, resized the montage view, moved the monitors around, went to help page and then back to montage. The view was reset back to default.

Logs sent.

Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)

Just realized I hadn't tested for this glitch on my iPhone 6Plus. It's behaving just like the iPad Air2. Bring up the montage, resize and rearrange the montage to my liking. But after I click on any other view in the app and then back to the montage all the monitors reset to the smallest size and a ...

Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)

No, unfortunately that is a bug - if you have a disabled monitor. If you enable that monitor it will work. This bug is fixed in the next version of iOS that is hanging around for review. Double checked and all my monitors are enabled but I'm still seeing this issue. Updated the app today to 1.1.2, ...

Re: open source ZM client: ZmNinja (uses ZoneMinder APIs)

Really like the way the montage view can be shuffled around and resized. But so far it resets back to really small images in a default order. I change the size, re-order them to my liking and it's ok. Till I start the app next time and it's back to default. Am I missing a "Save layout" opt...

Re: Typical Load for other users

I typically manually delete events about once a day after browsing through the list of thumbnails. I can pick and choose the ones I want to review more in depth after I delete the bulk of them. I don't have the purge issue this way. For the most part I don't keep events hanging around on the drives ...
