Definively moved my production system from 1.30.4 to 1.36.15.
Finally I found a good maturity in ZM 1.36.15. Additionally I was able to install on my phone ZMNinja and connect it to my production system. Very useful product.
really, my compliments Isaac!
thanks a lot for your and your team effort.

Re: Testing 1.36.15 - 2 little issues preliminarly found
Hi Isaac,
thanks.
For the first, should I do somenthing?
For the second, no, it's not a problem, a reminder. When I change the rotation, ZM doesn't update the zone points. So, the zones are all out of whack. correct.
thanks Michele

ZM 1.36.15 - Issue on Montage View functionality
Good morning, for test I installed ZM 1.36.15 on 2 setup configurations: 1. a Samsung laptop with Ubuntu 20.04 2. an Odroid XU4 board with Ubuntu 16.04 11 cameras working fine except an issue on both setup configuration. When in montage view (browser is Firefox 100.0 ) the system takes too time (and...

Re: Issue: Force Alarm button not working
Monitor mode means no recording. Use Nodect. Yes I know it's confusing, it's why I wrote all that text around the function setting. It will be made better in 1.38. ahahahah :D that's ok, Isaac! the important is the functionality! I was trying to replicate same functionalities/usage I have on 1.30.4...

Thanks, Doug.dougmccrary wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 8:23 am on the cancel there's often some delay - try waiting a few and recheck.
I understood the issue.
The button is not working when the CAM is in Monitor mode (in MODECT way is working).
Probably the developer wants in this way...but in ZM 1.30.4 it's working in Monitor mode too!
thanks

Re: Issue: Force Alarm button not working
Hmm. Works here on bionic, and 1.37.1 working on focal...but I'm on x86 not ARM. Hi Doug, thanks for the feedback. I think it's a matter of test: probably the bug is present only on ARM platform. I found that the first platform normally tested by developers is x86. Probably the developers didn't ye...

Re: TP-Link Tapo C200 control script
thanks a lot for the script. It works!
I use it on Ubuntu 16.04. On 16.04 it is not possible to install the seccond library you suggested
sudo apt install libjson-pp-perl libjson-parse-perl
I commented in your script
#use JSON::Parse 'parse_json';
it worked!
thanks

Re: ZM Port Numbers
It could be interesting my experience. On my server I have Zoneminder and a website. My need: 1. the website on port 80, then redirected to 443, 2. Zoneminder on a different port: port 81. (i.e.: Zoneminder reached directly on localhost: 81, not on localhost:80/zm) Solution: 1. comment in sudo nano ...

SOLVED ! As I understood it is needed in Ubuntu 16.04 and depending on the apps suite you are using. I modified the php.ini file in the following way adding at the bottom the following code: upload_max_filesize = 32M post_max_size = 48M memory_limit = 256M max_execution_time = 600 max_input_vars = 3...

ZM 1.30.4 and HTTP/2
Recently I enabled HTTP/2.0 in my Apache Web Server on Ubuntu 16.04 . There are many benefits. My website is working without regressions. And ZM too, almost... ZM is 1.30.4. The browser is Firefox 75.0. Tests done in LAN. The only issue in ZM is in Montage functionality (seeing all together my 7 came...

Re: ZM SSL or not?
Best browser with ZM is Mozilla (no constraints with number of cameras and no add-on like combozola to be installed) and no issue at all with self-signed certificate. Let's encrypt and the rest of the chain self signed is fully secure. Fot the throughput topic: no issues with 8 cameras working and a...
