Any idea if you're rolling this into mainline? I have been using this version every day and I haven't noticed any issues...
I'd love to update my linux machines as well.

Re: Align Cameras to the width of ZMNinja Window
Good to know. I think that the 1% changes work perfectly fine for me. There is still a slight sliver that I can't fill, but it's better than the 1/2 a "monitor image" that it was before. AWESOME APP!!!! Now I just need to figure out how to access it via Roku or Amazon FireTV... Basically w...

Re: Align Cameras to the width of ZMNinja Window
So, setting the Zoom to 1% on the desktop effectively gives me the most maximal space used, with substantially little waste. I noticed a new behavior though... When I zoom out, the grid resize is locked to only 2 columns, no matter how many times I zoom out. Then, if I zoom in just once, I can again...

Re: Align Cameras to the width of ZMNinja Window
Ah I see. Every time you hit the + or - it grows/shrinks by 5%. It is possible that when all 3 grow by 5% its too much. Would growing just one be acceptable? You are able to individually size the windows - want to make sure you are aware of that. I've actually done that (growing just one) on the mo...

Re: Align Cameras to the width of ZMNinja Window
I'm not really sure I understand your use-case. Its not possible to resize the window without the cameras reflowing. Is it not possible to resize the window to whatever width you want and then resize the cameras with +- to fill up the width? That last piece is exactly the issue. Right now, I want t...

Re: Align Cameras to the width of ZMNinja Window
Yea, the problem is, I need to resize the window without the cameras automatically stretching. If I could just lock the width of the cameras, resize the WINDOW, then unlock the cameras, they would all expand as I want them to...

Align Cameras to the width of ZMNinja Window
In the attached screen shot, you can see that I have 3-cameras wide in the view, but no matter what I do, I can't stretch them evenly width-wise in the app, there is ALWAYS wasted space. Is there anything I can do to stretch this wide and fill the app's window? I don't mind if I end up scrolling up ...

Re: Zoneminder still tries to access disabled camera
As long as you set the function to none, uncheck "enabled", and click save, then under normal circumstances all the zm* processes associated with the camera will go away. If however, there are crashed processes, the possibility does exist they might not close properly under abnormal condi...

Re: Zoneminder still tries to access disabled camera
I'm not sure exactly what the issue is, Everything indicates that it's disabled. I ended up deleting the monitor.

Zoneminder still tries to access disabled camera
Hey all! So, I have a camera that has failed and I plan to replace it. I've set its function to "None" and disabled the camera, however, ZoneMinder still tries to connect to the camera which is filling the logs with errors... Is this a bug or am I missing something. I don't want to delete ...

Re: Get Camera Status from Command Line
Your welcome. These functions are included from (Ubuntu based system) /usr/share/perl5/Zoneminder.pm these are PERL modules that perform functions all throughout the zoneminder code. It is called to be included at the top of the code. Thanks so much!!! This is exactly what I needed and I can modify...

Re: Get Camera Status from Command Line
create a PERL file with this code and place it in /usr/bin or some place it will execute from the command line. This script will return all the current monitor states. This is a modification of zm-alarm.pl. Hope it helps. This looks awesome! Just put it in play and it's exactly what I need. Quick q...

Get Camera Status from Command Line
Howdy all! Is there any way to determine the camera status (Idle/Alarm/Alert) from the command line? I'm trying to figure out when a specific monitor I have is getting stuck in an Alarm state forever, and it's actually resulted in me losing events because it starts to fill the disk. I'm thinking of ...

Re: High Resolution Cameras and Modect
Hi jsylvia007! The above you mentioned is the easy one. ZM records event in size as set in monitor settings - Post Event Image Count. For the same seconds of an event recorded, you have to match "Post Event Image Count" X "frame rate" of low res and highres monitor of the same c...

Re: High Resolution Cameras and Modect
I have two 3MB cameras (same res as yours) and do a modect on low res (VGA). Each high stream monitor is nodect linked to low stream from the same camera and works perfectly. I added a filter to delete a low res events after an hour, so I have only hi res events saved - to minimise disk space and g...
