Do I need to delete the default "All" zone before a new one that covers some of the image area will work properly? I've defined a new zone with half of the available image and deactivted the "All" zone, but my new zone does not seem to be reacting to motion events at all?

I can't get this to work, but I noticed that I can't see your stream from your page either. It just shows as a broken image "X". I'm wondering if it's my firewall or something since I am outside of my home network. What user and password should I be supplying? The authenticated web console...

How can I embed the zm stream into another html page? I've tried poking around the /var/ww/html files and can't find anything that just works? I'm sure this is easy, but I sure can't figure it out... I'm assuming I need to pass some variables to one of the .php scripts or construct a page in the htm...

Next time I'll try looking right in front of me first...

I'm surprized that with everyone who is using zoneminder that no one seems to know these values for the PTZ-2N. If I do manage to figure them out, I'll be sure to post it in here.

Ahh... Finally some attention....lol I'm trying to figure out what all of the numeric values should be for a PTZ-2N in the control settings for the control type that I added. There are fields that ask for things like "max pan", "max tilt", "max step". I'm not sure where...

I got it to work... sort of. For some odd reason, the new control just started showing up in the dropdown, but now I'm trying to figure out all of correct values to put into the control settings. I'll try to figure them out from the code, but it sure would be nice if you had a document taht helps......

I'd also like to know what all the values should be in the "control" configurations. There are many numeric values that need to be filled in, but I have no idea where to get them from. Also, it seems that the same script will not work for my PTZ-4N. What would it take to make it work. I ca...

I'm running with a newly installed to HDD (newest) version of the LiveCD and can't seem to get my newly added "control" to show up in the dropdown list for "control types"?

I see about 3 of the existing default types but all others are not available in the dropdown.

Any hints?

I hooked up my PTZ-2N and I've got your script working. Now I just need to know how to get it populated into the dropdown menu in the zm "control type" feild.

I'm finnaly getting back to trying to make zomeminder work for me. I have everything working in a very basic sense but I'm having trouble getting my camera controls to work. I have the latest LiveCD version installed to hard disk and I can't seem to find /usr/loca/bin/zmcontrol-ptel.zm on it. Should...

I'm getting an error "Can't locate ZoneMinder.pm" on my system that is running the Madrake live CD version of ZM. Any ideas where it is located or what to do?

I think I got it. I copied the file to a .tar.Z file and then ran gunzip on it and then tar -xvf...
