You need to feed ZM the corect frame rate or it will guss 30 /2 =15 but zm is not god at estimating that with network cams because it has to take apart the stream. Generaly its something like /strem.asp?cam=1&fps=15 but it will depend on the cam

Most 3g ones seam to be behind a nat now a days. The vpn may also work but you have to use a UDP vpn link as tcp wil...

Re: what do you guys use as your antivirus?

When there logged into the limited account and want to be a admin all they do is right click the application that needs admin -> then run as --> admin : pass Prevents al...

Re: CPU requirement (IP cam).

There is also the fact the CPUs can do ifrent amounts of work depeding on new vs old.

Also as far as motion detection goes it can be anywhere from 2 cameras on a 2 cpu system to 20 on a 20 cpu system. It all depends on circumstances.

Re: Outdoor DIY ultrasonic alarm

Looks quite interesting would save quit a few cpu cycles. If you want to intergrate something like this take a look at "zmtrigger" kinda of a generic triggering api. If you make it easy and relatively cheap it could just catch on. You would probably get bonace points from users if it had a generic t...
