IN my experance on a dedicated (non zm ) server lightpd shows some improvement but it is nothing compared to a server called NginX.

Nginx uses like 5mb on a heavily loaded site try that with apache or lightpd. And it is rock solid.

It depends unless they give you a demo camera and you try it there is no way to know. Ask most are more than willing to put a camera up for you to demo.

IF you use wireshark you will see its dhcp request and ip across the network.

I really hope this driver gets in the main stream kernel finally got one myself. The techwell cards are mutch better than the old bttv we have all been useing and the techwells are stupid cheap. I get 7.5 FPS out of a Teachwell6805 chip on my bttv i got 4.5. Sharing 1 chip with 2 cams. Wow. Any idea...

Cheap Capture card
Accely it is the pal and NTSC standard back from when tv was basically created. So no analog camera can go above the standard. But many home cctv cameras go below by cheating and upscaling.

Also note that Axis cameras can trigger ZM with out the server doing any work. :)

Also if it a professorial grade camera simply adjust the iris. or get a auto iris lens for it.

I like the new logging page. Its really nice especially for later debugging issues. :) Just though I would repeat a post i saw in feature request. We should also be logging logins and attempted logins to the system at a minimum. (maybe later changes made to ZM: Cam Settings, User Accounts, etc...) A...
