This has been a feature for a while. ZM_WEB_LIST_THUMBS under the WEB tab. Yes, but it's multiple thumbnails I'm specifically interested in (in a fashion shown in the photoshopped example) which that option doesn't provide. As for multiple thumb nails, how would you suggest the dynamic selection is...

Internet-Enabled Automatic Cat Feeder (using ZM of course!)

Hi all, For a long while now we have used our ZM installation to keep an eye on the cats whilst we're out, including having a dedicated camera on the catflap so we can determine who is in/out and monitoring for any unauthorised guests... So.. it seemed like logical progression to build on this setup...

I understand. What I'm saying is that you have a client problem - not one with ZoneMinder - hence you'd be better off posting a query in one of the client-specific forums.

The IPv6 address you've given is one of Google's. You won't be able to reach it directly via HTTP due to the lack of a HOST-header. Stick to using http://ipv6.google.com.

If you can't reach that then you've got client issues not related to ZoneMinder.

Thanks Phil. In fact, the News/Downloads pages have exactly what I was after so maybe I ought to sign up to the Wiki and contribute this myself! Perhaps if you wanted to start it off in your preferred format/style I'd be happy to follow suit.

The problem with IPv4 is because I'm natted by the provider. Most users use the same public shared IP. So a tunnel broker for Ipv6 is suitable, because they offer you a public IPv6 address. Oh right, so your provider only gives you a private IPv4 address? The problems with my browser still are unkn...

I'm not sure why you're seeing a problem with IE/Firefox, although what I was posting for is that I'm not sure I see why you even had a problem in the first place with your IPv4 NAT? If your IPv6 tunnel endpoint can be set to whatever your current public IPv4 address is, then why can't DDNS be used ...

Dated changelog?

Not so much a request for ZM itself, but rather the changelog in the wiki... I was wondering if you could date the versions (starting from now on if need be) just to give an idea of when particular versions came out? Often if I'm using a less-than-latest version of a piece of software it can be usef...

Dang, I was going to post a feature request for the thumbs in events list myself, but I had the brightest idea of browsing this forum's threads and found this, so I discovered there actually already is something like this implemented. Is there? Is that in a later version? (I'm still running 1.22.3)...

Sure, there are a couple:

http://www.sureflap.co.uk/
http://www.petporte.com/

The latter one is going to have a PC interface released for it too!

It's funny - here's me struggling with my keys at the front door and the cats are wandering through the back completely handsfree!

I am actually due to replace the flap soon with an microchip-compatible one but... ..that's not really what I'm asking! :-) The catflap illustration was just an example, I'd be equally interested in having this multiple-thumbnail feature for all my monitors. Mathew (As an aside I like the colour sug...

Multiple thumbnails in the events list

I would really like the ability to have multiple thumbnails (not just one) shown against each event in the event table. The reason for this is that when browsing through the list of recent events looking for captures of interest it can sometimes be difficult to see what was captured as the displayed...

Sure. I use a Panasonic BL-C1 network camera over a pair of Solwise PL-85E Homeplugs without any problems.

I had previously tried a similar setup with wireless bridges and found the performance to be flaky at best.
