Re: Pictures in Notifications

Are you absolutely sure you are on 5.15.6 and not master? If you are on master, try a smaller image (1MB or less)
If you are on 5.15.6, you'll need to post DEBUG logs when the push is being sent out from the ES

Re: exclude events from linked cameras

If you want to skip monitors look at the skip_monitors attribute in zmeventnotification.ini

Re: zmninja inconsistency

That was the first thing I did (those steps). It populates fine. Nothing looks out of whack in the logs. It's really like my phone just won't receive the notifications, that it's got a setting that's blocking, but I don't have anything blocked that I can see: I have a few other apps that I allow; z...

Re: zmninja inconsistency

Try this:
1. Edit tokens.txt and remove all entries
2. Restart ES
3. Start zmNinja
4. Make sure new token shows up in tokens.txt
5. Send an alarm and look at ES logs.

Re: Improving performance in constant preview scenario

You are most likely not using multi-port streaming. My guess is that is the big ticket item.
There are other tips: https://zmninja.readthedocs.io/en/lates ... -my-server

zmNinja doesn't use width/height for montage. It uses scale

Re: zmninja inconsistency

I haven't been able to replicate this over 72 hours with lorenjz's server and my android 8 device. So my presumption is it is an android client specific issue. I've put in some additional guards in a modified apk. If someone can easily replicate this issue, please contact me at pliablepixels at gmai...

Re: zmninja inconsistency

SkippyDo, can you reliably replicate this every time? I've set up a test account with lorenjz on my android device and waiting for the situation to reproduce.

Re: zmeventnotification and letsencrypt permission issues

This seems to be a recurring topic in letsencrypt forums. I haven’t research or tried but when I did a search I came up with posts that talk about a deploy script for LE that basically changes permissions. These scripts get triggered by LE automatically when certs are renewed. There are many posts -...

As it turns out there was a typo in the matching logic. Could you try again after updating?

Re: ES 6.0: Rules engine for notifications

So that means the alarm that is coming through in ZM does not have a "detected: car" in it. Do you see "detected: car" in the event when you go to ZM?

Re: ES 6.0: Rules engine for notifications

The chances are the event that is being checked does not have the cause you are expecting (sometimes they are written later, if you are using machine learning)

I've added a log so we can see what the cause is. Please update and lets look at the logs.

Re: ES 6.0: Rules engine for notifications

"cause_has" is a string or a regular expression that needs to be matched for the rule to kick in. For example: { from: "9am", to:"6pm", cause_has: "cat", action:"mute" } This means "If the alarm has the word 'cat' inside its cause field and is between 9am - 6pm, don't notify" It also supports regula...
