Okay, please keep it running in this mode (command line) and try it with zmNinja to make sure its able to parse the JSON objects etc before you move it to zmdc
Thanks!

Re: Which iconnor ppa?
Hi Guys, I'm confused as to which PPA I should use for an Ubuntu 14.04 installation. What is the difference between the two iconnor PPAs and which should I use? zoneminder -- OR -- zoneminder-master Why would one be preferred over the other? Thanks zoneminder is for stable versions. zoneminder-mast...

Re: Real time event notification with zmNinja (0.81+)
Awesome - thanks for trying. 1) Please don't run it via zmdc for now. Can you please run it manually "sudo ./zmeventnotification.pl" and then see? (logs will still go to syslog) (Before you do this make sure you kill it and also remove it from zmdc restart otherwise it will keep getting restarted, o...

Re: turn camera on/off via telnet
You have the following options: 1. Use zmpkg - but that restarts all of ZM, so its slow 2. Use zmu (as sudo) (do a zmu --help and explore) to change function from Enabled to Disabled or vice versa. That will enable/disable a specific monitor. You can't however change its Mode (From say Modect to Non...

Re: ZmNinja: Release specific notes
Had a couple of observations during today's activities, which included doing the army crawl in attic hell running cable for another camera: 1) After adding the camera to ZM, all monitors got re-selected in ZmNinja's montage view, so I had to redo those selections plus the newly-added camera. Yes, y...

Re: iptables causing errors in the logs
Are you sure this is iptables related?
I often see the error - I think its a PHP thing. I did not have time to debug it.

Re: Foscam C1 not working with zoneminder
You need to provide more details beyond 'it doesn't work'
1) Post screenshots of how you configured it (make sure your URLs are configured as per http://www.ispyconnect.com/man.aspx?n=foscam)
2) Post ZM logs so we understand what is going on

Re: ZmNinja: Release specific notes
Hi Patpend, thanks for the feedback. Some notes inlined: New tester here. Here are my initial observations for iOS release v0.81. Initial setup/ZM Settings: 1) For ZM portal URL I mistakenly entered only the ip address, without the /zm suffix. This caused an 'api not found' error. Then the "ZoneMind...

Re: Can I go straight to the timeline?
yeah that URL works. cool. So follow on question is, what is better, to request the feature, or make it myself and do a pull request? The feature would be to add an option setting, that chooses between the events view and timeline view, for when the user clicks on the event count links from the con...

Re: Suddenly high system load due to ZMC process
You should start by posting logs around the time the load spikes. Option->Logs Aaron, >Do you have filters set up to remove old data? No, not yet. There is still plenty of free SSD space available. There is not that much old data anyway. >if you are on linux, get familiar with 'nmon', it can show yo...

Re: Can I go straight to the timeline?
Is there a way to go straight to the timeline view, instead of having to open the events view then click timeline? To me this is a much more intuitive interface, and is the preferred method of looking at events. Thanks, Aaron I think so. What happens if you go to zmip/zm/index.php?view=timeline ?
